Dong-Eui University Lifelong Education Center Receives Busan Mayor's Commendation for Establishing Radiation Disaster Prevention System
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) Lifelong Education Center (Director Kim Tae-kyung) announced on the 22nd that it received a letter of appreciation from Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon) in recognition of its contribution to establishing a radiation disaster prevention system, including support for emergency medical care and medical volunteer services and implementation of resident protection measures.
Since 2014, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has participated in Busan City's nuclear safety and radiation disaster joint training for over 10 years to foster medical personnel, promote community development, and ensure citizen safety. It has supported CPR education to cultivate emergency medical volunteers (students), resident protection, and emergency response capabilities.
In the 2024 radiation disaster prevention training, the center was highly praised for its contributions to establishing the radiation disaster prevention system, including ▲ administrative support for the efficient operation of the medical volunteer group for radiation disaster prevention training ▲ recruitment of medical volunteers for radiation disaster prevention training ▲ support for CPR education to enhance emergency response capabilities at all sites.

Kim Tae-kyung, Director of the Lifelong Education Center at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, “We will continue to participate in radiation disaster prevention training to ensure the safety of local citizens and the development of medical personnel.
