Anseong City Provides 100,000 KRW Livelihood Stability Support Fund to Low-Income Households
Approximately 6,700 Basic Livelihood Security and Near-Poverty Households to Benefit
Kim Bora, Mayor: "We Will Continue to Promote Welfare Policies for Livelihood Stabilization"
On the 16th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will provide livelihood stabilization funds to alleviate the economic difficulties of low-income households during the winter season.
The recipients of this fund are approximately 6,700 households receiving basic living security benefits and those in the near-poverty class within the city. The city plans to provide 100,000 KRW in the form of the local currency, the 'Anseong Sarang Card.'
Eligible recipients are those registered as residents of Anseong City as of January 3rd and belong to the basic living security or near-poverty groups. Households that already use the Anseong Sarang Card and the Kona I application will receive the funds sequentially online starting from the 17th. Households without the Anseong Sarang Card can visit their local eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare center from the 17th of next month to apply and receive the card immediately on-site.
To prevent congestion at the administrative welfare centers, the city will apply a five-day rotation system based on the last digit of the birth year for applications.
