On the 14th, a video titled "Meeting Kim Seong-su. The current status of the TV personality who disappeared from TV" was uploaded on the YouTube channel "Geunhwang Olympics." In the video, Kim Seong-su mentioned his popularity during his time with the group Cool. He said, "We swept all the events held at the beach. There was never a day my skin was pale," and added, "I earned a lot of money."
He continued, "When we really earned a lot, we almost always received our pay in cash. When I put money in my wallet, it wouldn’t fold. When I sat on a chair, the wallet bounced up like a spring," recalling, "I earned that much money, but I was gullible and soft-hearted, so I ended up doing a lot of favors for others." He added, "Simply put, whoever saw Kim Seong-su’s money first was the owner," and confessed, "I should have refused, but I couldn’t. I was also scammed by many investment frauds and lost a lot of money."

View original imageWhen asked what kind of fraud he experienced, Kim Seong-su said, "A car dealer told me, ‘There are only a few of these cars worldwide, so just add 90 million won. I’ll transfer the title to you.’ But he took 90 million won from about 10 people for the same car and fled to China," adding, "The car itself wasn’t even his." He also said he invested in a sports bar business in New Zealand but was scammed there as well. Kim Seong-su revealed the amount of damage was in the billions of won, saying, "It was all fraud. It was like getting wet in a drizzle. No, it wasn’t even drizzle?it was a flood."
Kim Seong-su also mentioned the MBC variety show Infinite Challenge, which he appeared on in the past. He said, "I regret leaving Infinite Challenge," expressing regret now for deciding to leave despite Yoo Jae-suk’s attempts to dissuade him at the time. Kim Seong-su said, "If I had listened to Jae-suk back then, I would be beating the ground and regretting it."
