Asset Plus Asset Management "AlphaBridge Successfully Secures Series A Investment"
Asset Plus Asset Management announced on the 7th that its subsidiary, Alphabridge, has successfully secured Series A funding from P&I Investment, a venture capital company specializing in 4th industrial revolution innovative companies. Alphabridge's valuation following this investment is reported to exceed approximately 50 billion KRW. The investment funds will be actively used to secure key talent and develop competitive artificial intelligence (AI) assistant and AI technology solutions.
Alphabridge started in 2016 as an in-house venture team of Asset Plus and spun off as a subsidiary with a capital of 3 billion KRW in 2022. It currently provides services such as AI portfolios to companies including LS Securities, NH Investment & Securities, and SK Securities. Going forward, Alphabridge plans to offer innovative AI investment solutions to financial institutions that plan, develop, and sell AI portfolio products.
Alphabridge’s main business is providing portfolio solutions utilizing AI technology. In 2017, Alphabridge led the development of the algorithm for Alpha Robo, the first AI-based equity public fund in Korea, and continues to provide this service. This fund has received the highest rating from Morningstar Korea, a global fund rating company.
Last year, Alphabridge assisted in launching a new product that compressively invests in 30 S&P 500 stocks based on AI, providing related services. Currently, it is also providing services through an AI portfolio solution called Voyager in collaboration with major asset management companies.
Additionally, Alphabridge is preparing a financial investment service that searches for and selects the best products in anticipation of the emergence of numerous innovative financial investment products utilizing AI. This investment platform service, called BOB (Best Of Best), recommends optimal investment strategies and products using AI. It plans to offer this service through collaboration with securities firms, banks, and others in the future.
