Chairman Seo Kyung-bae to Attend CES On-site
Amorepacific announced on the 6th that its 'Wanna-Beauty AI' technology received an Innovation Award at CES 2025, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition. With this, Amorepacific has won the CES Innovation Award for six consecutive years.
At CES, held from the 7th (local time) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Amorepacific plans to showcase the 'AI Skin Analysis and Care Solution' developed in collaboration with Samsung Electronics' 'Micro LED Beauty Mirror.' A new product from the MakeOn brand, which will incorporate this technology, will also be unveiled.
Wanna-Beauty AI, which won the award in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) category at CES 2025, is a voice chatbot-based digital solution that uses generative AI to find the ideal makeup for customers and provide customized virtual experiences. This technology analyzes skin tone, facial proportions, and shapes from user photos and offers makeup recommendations and virtual makeup experiences based on data learned from makeup experts' know-how. Additionally, users can apply someone else's makeup look to their own face.
This solution incorporates Amorepacific's image diagnostic technology and image generation AI technology jointly developed with KAIST. The Wanna-Beauty AI technology can be experienced at the Venetian Expo Innovation Award showcase during CES.
Amorepacific's independently developed 'AI Skin Analysis and Care Solution' will be featured on Samsung Electronics' 'Micro LED Beauty Mirror.' This technology combines camera-based optical skin diagnostics with contact-based skin diagnostic technology using the device. Both companies plan to offer beauty experiences such as skin condition analysis, personalized product recommendations, and skincare method suggestions to customers visiting Samsung Electronics' 'First Look' booth.
At this booth, Amorepacific's beauty device brand MakeOn will also debut its new product, the 'Skin Light Therapy 3S.' MakeOn plans to officially launch this device in March this year, along with a dedicated application equipped with the AI Skin Analysis and Care Solution.
