Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends the 1st Closing Ceremony of Nowon Children's Winter Vacation Native English Camp
On the afternoon of the 5th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the first closing ceremony of the 'Winter Vacation Nowon Children Native English Camp' held at the Yohangwan Auditorium of Samyook University to congratulate the students on their completion.
This English camp is an intensive 7-night, 8-day English experience program with native teachers from Samyook University, designed to allow students to learn and experience vivid and practical English in an environment similar to overseas settings.
At the camp, 160 students participated to develop their English communication skills and engaged in various learning and experiential activities such as experiencing foreign cultures with native teachers.
The closing ceremony was attended by about 300 people including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, students, parents, and officials, and proceeded in the order of ▲Encouragement speech by Je Hae-jong, President of Samyook University ▲Congratulatory speech by Mayor Oh Seung-rok ▲Award ceremony ▲Group photo session ▲Camp video viewing.
The second closing ceremony will be held on January 19th, where 160 students will complete the camp through the graduation ceremony.
