Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 5th that it achieved a record high by selling a total of 1,708,293 units in the U.S. market in 2024. This figure represents a 3.4% increase compared to the previous year, exceeding the 2023 record by more than 50,000 units.
Sales of RVs and eco-friendly vehicles drove the performance growth. Hyundai's Palisade recorded its highest-ever sales with 110,055 units (up 23%), and the Ioniq 5 also achieved a record high with 44,400 units sold (up 31%). Kia's EV9 sales surged by 1869% to 22,017 units, while models like the Sportage and Carnival also showed growth.

Hyundai Motor Group ranked 4th in U.S. market sales for the second consecutive year, following GM, Toyota, and Ford. GM took the top spot with 2,689,346 units sold, followed by Toyota with 2,332,623 units and Ford with 2,065,161 units.
