Dong-Eui University Lifelong Education Center, Busan Senior Academy DIT 100+ Life University 4th Class Graduation
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) has operated the 4th term of the Busan Senior Academy (Senior College), a project commissioned by Busan City, for about three months since last September, and held a completion ceremony for 31 graduates on the 10th.
The institute was selected as the operating organization for 2023 and runs programs focused on health (self-care) and sports activities such as ▲health management methods by life cycle ▲cardiopulmonary resuscitation training ▲water aerobics ▲park golf. In addition, it offers courses aimed at improving the quality of life for Busan citizens aged 60 and over through lifelong education, including ▲financial education for retirement preparation ▲smartphone usage training, as well as hobby and leisure activities such as ▲Pansori ▲barista experience.
Kim Tae-kyung, Director of the Lifelong Education Center at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, said, “As the senior population recently accounts for more than 20% of the total population, entering a super-aged society, we will provide diverse programs that help seniors maintain a vibrant and healthy life and continuously offer lifelong education opportunities so that they do not become isolated as members of the local community.”

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology plans to recruit for the 5th term in the first half of 2025 starting from the end of January.
