A Story Uncovering the Secrets of the Cursed Palace
Actors Jo Seung-woo, Nam Joo-hyuk, and Noh Yoon-seo will collaborate in a new Netflix series. It is titled 'Donggung (working title)', set in a fictional East Asian-inspired era.
According to Netflix on the 12th, the story follows those who can sense or cut ghosts as they uncover hidden secrets within a cursed palace.
Jo Seung-woo plays a king who summons people to break the curse lingering in the palace. Nam Joo-hyuk portrays Gucheon, who has the ability to kill ghosts by cutting them with a sword, and Noh Yoon-seo plays Saenggang, a palace maid who can hear the voices of ghosts.

The script is written by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won, writers of 'Bulgasal' and 'The Guest', and the direction is by PD Choi Jung-gyu of 'The Devil Judge'. The production is jointly handled by Showrunners and Imaginus.
