Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 10th that it held the ‘Visiting U Apartment Counseling Room - Cha(Yu)dam’ at Howon I-Park (150 Pyeonghwa-ro 150beon-gil, 26).

At this Howon I-Park, the program was held under the theme of ‘Guide to Operating the Inter-floor Noise Management Committee’ for residents including the inter-floor noise management committee members.
The chairman of the inter-floor noise management committee who attended the training said, “Our apartment complex is required to form an inter-floor noise management committee,” and added, “I had many concerns about mediating inter-floor noise conflicts and managing the committee, but this training was very helpful.”
The head of the senior citizens’ center said, “The education focused on mediation management of inter-floor noise through case studies and resolving inter-floor noise conflicts by revitalizing the community left a strong impression,” and requested, “Please hold Cha(Yu)dam sessions again in the future.”

An official from Uijeongbu City stated, “With the enforcement of the Multi-family Housing Management Act Enforcement Decree, which mandates the formation of an inter-floor noise management committee for complexes with 700 or more households, effective from October 25, this training was essential for the 700-household Howon I-Park complex,” and added, “Above all, we feel rewarded as the satisfaction level of the training participants was high.”
