Gangnam-gu, Warmth Sharing Campaign at Mobile Workers' Shelter
Elegant Youth Deliver Winter Supplies and Snacks
Gangnam-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will hold the ‘Mobile Workers Warmth Sharing Campaign’ and ‘Love Hot Pack Delivery Ceremony’ for delivery and courier workers at the Gangnam Mobile Workers Shelter (Alive Station) Trade Center Branch on the 10th.
This event was organized to deliver warmth to mobile workers who have to work outdoors even in the cold winter.
The campaign, held from 2 PM to 5 PM, will have Woowa Brothers, a delivery and logistics specialist company, distribute winter supplies along with winter snacks and drinks such as fish-shaped bread and coffee. At 2:10 PM, the delivery ceremony will feature the Full Gospel Gangnam Church donating 3,000 love hot packs. These hot packs will be stocked at the currently operating mobile workers shelters so that mobile workers can use them comfortably.
Meanwhile, the district office is continuously expanding mobile workers shelters and striving to improve the working environment for mobile workers. Following the existing three locations in Yeoksam-dong (2 places) and Samseong-dong (1 place), an additional shelter will be opened near Suseo Station in the third week of this month to serve mobile workers in the Suseo area.
