KOTRA "14,000 Visitors Attend Korea-India Industrial Exhibition"
650 Billion Export Consultation Results
KOTRA announced on the 24th that approximately 14,000 visitors attended the Korea Industrial Exhibition (KoINDEX) held from the 21st to the 23rd (local time) at the Yashobumi Exhibition Center in New Delhi, India. The exhibition conducted export consultations worth $450 million (650 billion KRW), and it is expected to achieve results exceeding $140 million (about 200 billion KRW) if contracts proceed.

View original imageThe Korea Industrial Exhibition was hosted for the first time this year by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Gyeonggi Province, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Goyang City to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and India. The event was held to further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries and to support the overseas expansion of Korean SMEs. It is a comprehensive industrial exhibition designed to showcase the major industries of both countries like an index (INDEX).
KOTRA reported that 3,600 buyers from India and the South Asia region visited the booths of exhibiting companies and conducted over 5,000 export consultations. The export consultation amount was valued at $450 million. It is expected to achieve results exceeding $140 million if contracts proceed.
