Weple, CES 2025 Innovation Award... Recognized for Portable Drone Inspection Solution
Wiplo announced on the 19th that it won the Innovation Award at the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, 'CES 2025,' for its portable drone inspection solution.
The company stated that Wiplo, a specialized company in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions, was recognized for its technology in the global market by winning the Innovation Award in the drone category with its portable drone inspection solution, 'VertiFit Mini.' This marks the first Innovation Award received through VertiFit Mini.
VertiFit Mini is a portable inspection solution that quickly and accurately diagnoses the condition of small drones. It is a miniaturized version of 'VertiFit,' which is designed for large drones. It can be carried and easily inspected before the drone performs its mission. VertiFit has been deployed in about 23 locations nationwide through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's drone delivery demonstration project.
VertiFit Mini is equipped with Wiplo's independently developed sensors and an artificial intelligence (AI)-based diagnostic system. This system enables precise diagnosis of drone status in about 10 seconds using a non-contact method, and predicts malfunctions through data-driven AI analysis to prevent safety issues in advance. It overcomes the limitations of traditional visual inspections, automates and unmanned the drone inspection process, thereby improving the efficiency of drone operations.
