Korea Financial IT Launches Nation's First AI-Based Conditional Search Solution
Korea Financial IT Co., Ltd. (CEO Moon-Tae Lee), a securities solution specialist, officially launched the AI (Artificial Intelligence)-based conditional search solution ‘Altius’ for the first time in Korea on November 15 and began providing the service through securities firms.
‘Altius’ is a service where AI finds the stocks that investors want in real time. By simply entering conditions through a chatbot, it finds the optimal stocks among more than 2,600 stocks and enables users to establish their own investment strategies. Korea Financial IT’s existing ‘conditional search solution’ has been recognized as a specialized solution for finding investment stocks in the securities market for over 20 years. By integrating AI, it not only omits the difficult and complex condition-setting process but also allows beginners to easily find investment stocks at an expert level just by asking questions, which is its greatest feature.
For example, if you ask, “Find stocks related to autumn travel that have risen more than 5% today in the deepening autumn,” the AI analyzes the question in real time and matches it with the DB of the conditional search server to find the optimal stocks. This utilizes not only generative AI technology but also the conditional search engine and the vast information it holds. As a new attempt, it improved reliability by resolving hallucination phenomena through more accurate results. In addition, by using real-time data, it solved the problem of non-real-time data and addressed the lack of explanatory power in search results by clearly presenting the basis for the search results.
With its launch, Altius signed supply contracts with major securities firms and held supply briefings for about 10 securities firms, opening a new horizon in the evolving securities AI market. This was possible because Korea Financial IT, which has a long history and top technology in the securities solution market, partnered with Coxwave Co., Ltd., recognized as a generative AI specialist, with the goal of creating a new investment culture together. Integrating AI technology into securities solutions has been challenging due to the unique characteristics of the securities market, investment information expertise, and IT environment. Coxwave was able to apply In-Context Learning for user intent classification, Embedding for efficient performance, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology for accuracy improvement, enabling the launch of the highest-performance and most customer-beneficial service for the first time in Korea.
