Dobong-gu Holds Love Sharing Kimchi-Making Event... Kimchi Delivered to About 300 Vulnerable Households
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held the "Love Sharing Kimchi-Making Event with Urban Farmers" on November 13 at the Ssangmun-dong Eco-Friendly Sharing Garden.
The event was attended by about 50 people, including Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu, district employees, and volunteers. The ingredients needed for kimchi-making were prepared from crops grown in the sharing garden and donations from local residents and businesses.
The 1,500 kg of kimchi made that day was delivered to about 300 vulnerable households in the area. Additionally, 150 kg of sweet potatoes harvested from the sharing garden and rice harvested from the Musugol Eco-Friendly Rice Field Experience Center were distributed to 33 district-run senior centers.
