Yangsan-si Holds Joint Evaluation and Inspection Meeting on Major City and County Tasks
Final Performance Review Accelerates in Preparation for 2025 Si-Gun Joint Evaluation
On the 13th, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam held a review meeting to enhance the performance of the 2025 (2024 results) joint evaluation of major tasks of cities and counties, chaired by Vice Mayor Jo Hyun-ok, at the city hall's small conference room.
The joint evaluation of cities and counties is a system in which Gyeongnam Province annually comprehensively assesses the performance of 18 cities and counties in the province regarding major national policies and key initiatives. This year, Yangsan City's evaluation targets include a total of 120 indicators (98 quantitative and 22 qualitative).
At this review meeting, 21 department heads responsible for the underperforming quantitative indicators as of the end of October and all qualitative indicators attended to focus on checking the progress of each indicator and reported future plans to achieve goals and improve performance.
So far, Yangsan City has continuously worked to enhance performance by strengthening employee capabilities through training for indicator managers, consulting with evaluation experts, and providing rewards to outstanding departments as motivation. Until the end of the year, the city plans to further strengthen performance monitoring for unmet indicators to maximize the achievement rate.
