Silla University Traditional Fermented Food Research Institute Holds Professional Training Completion Ceremony and Seminar
Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) Traditional Fermented Food Research Institute held the 2024 traditional liquor professional training course completion ceremony along with the second half seminar.
On the 25th of last month, the institute held the 2024 professional training course completion ceremony and second half seminar at Asia City located in Yeonje-gu, Busan, with about 80 attendees including 20 graduates of the traditional liquor professional training course, over 40 past graduates and company officials, and instructors.
The Shilla University Traditional Fermented Food Research Institute, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service, has been training professionals in traditional liquor. From May to October this year, a total of 160 hours of training was conducted, with 20 people graduating, bringing the total number of graduates to 262 over 12 sessions since 2013.
Following the completion ceremony, the second half seminar was held under the theme "Alcohol Safety Policies and Hygiene Management that Alcohol Manufacturing Companies Must Know," featuring a special lecture by instructor Kim Seong-geun (former Technical Officer at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety).
