Busan Urban Corporation Practices Warm Sharing with Eco-Friendly Household Products
BMC Jugeo Bokji ON (ON), Distribution of Eco-Friendly Detergents and Natural Luffa... Simultaneous Practice of Housing Welfare Improvement and Environmental Protection
Busan Metropolitan City Corporation (BMC) will carry out a project on the 11th to provide daily necessities to residents of rental housing.
This project was prepared as the ‘2024 BMC Housing Welfare ON (溫)’ initiative, aimed at providing housing welfare services to residents of rental apartments operated by BMC.
This daily necessities support project is part of the happiness sharing sector within the ‘Housing Welfare ON’ project plan, intended to support essential household items that residents practically need for daily living. The support items consist of kitchen detergent and scrubbers worth approximately 80 million KRW.
The support targets were selected based on the results of the ‘BMC Housing Welfare Service Index’ survey conducted earlier this year to directly understand residents’ needs and satisfaction from the residents’ perspective. Eleven permanent rental apartment districts, including Dadae4 District, were chosen as the support targets.
The items provided this time were carefully selected as eco-friendly products considering residents’ health and environmental protection. The kitchen detergent uses orange oil extracted from nature to minimize environmental impact, and the scrubbers are natural products made from hemp and ramie produced in Gumi and Gimcheon regions of Gyeongbuk Province. All are made from sustainable eco-friendly materials.
This project will begin on the 11th at the Dadae4 District permanent rental apartments and will be sequentially delivered to 11 districts, distributed to 10,725 new residents through each management office.
