Support for SME Overseas Expansion... KAC Hosts Buyer Invitation Expo
Connecting 44 SMEs with Buyers from 17 Companies Across 5 Countries
Korea Airports Corporation organized an event to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in exploring overseas markets.
On the 11th, Korea Airports Corporation announced that it held the '2024 SME-Overseas Buyer Matching Expo' on the 8th at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The event was attended by 17 buyers from 5 countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Kyrgyzstan. The AI X-ray automatic reading system jointly developed by the corporation and Deepnoid, SOS Lab's LiDAR sensors, and various K-Beauty products attracted significant attention. Additionally, the corporation supported these SMEs' products to be listed on the B2B (business-to-business) platform of Korea Compass, a specialized export-import marketing company, to facilitate online sales.
Earlier, the corporation received applications in August from domestic SMEs aiming to enter the global market and selected a total of 44 companies, including Deepnoid, ATCNS, and MensMakeMe, after evaluating the relevance of their business items to airport industries, potential for overseas expansion, and originality. These companies were provided with ▲item analysis for each SME ▲identification of overseas buyers with strong purchasing intent ▲pre-verification of overseas buyers ▲arrangement of customized matching consultations.
