Ecobio Receives Technology Award for Developing 'Eco-Friendly Concrete Anti-Corrosion Admixture'
EcoBio Holdings (CEO Song Hyo-sun), which pursues ESG management and upcycling business, announced on the 4th that it received a technology award at the Korea Construction Recycling Resources Society held on the 31st.
The awarded technology is a high-durability, salt-resistant concrete admixture that increases durability and salt resistance such as compressive strength by using a compound in the form of Ettringite (Ca-S compound) generated through bio-sulfur reforming reaction as a marine concrete admixture.
Song Hyo-sun, Chairman of EcoBio Holdings, stated, “We will establish a sustainable circular resource system through eco-friendly concrete admixtures, cosmetic raw material development, and bio-sulfur organic agricultural materials and fertilizers, and strive to realize the high added value of bio-sulfur.”
Meanwhile, EcoBio Holdings is developing various products such as construction materials, agricultural use, and cosmetics by utilizing bio-sulfur generated from the biogas resource recovery business.
