Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 1st that it held the 'Child Abuse Response Information Linkage Working Council Meeting' on the 31st of last month together with child-related organizations such as the Osan Police Station and the Osan Child Protection Agency.

At this meeting, they discussed ▲ joint inspections with related organizations in the second half of the year ▲ expanded operation of the Crisis Child Protection Center ▲ cooperation on facility-protected children’s work ▲ detailed procedures for case transfer tasks.
The meeting also exchanged opinions on ▲ whether to proceed with family reunification procedures for abused children currently under facility protection ▲ response measures to children’s problematic behaviors ▲ intervention directions according to changes in household members within the family ▲ future case management plans for abused children.
On the same day, the city also conducted a campaign to raise awareness of child abuse at Geumam Village Humancia 3 Complex Apartments in Geumam-dong. During the campaign, the Osan City Child Protection Team and members of the Osan Child Committee Council provided citizens with information on raising awareness for child abuse prevention and reporting guidelines. Since May, the city has been promoting child abuse prevention campaigns at least once a month.
