On the 21st, JTBC's 'Incident Commander' reported, "Around 5 a.m. on the 22nd of last month, a man identified as Mr. A caused a disturbance at a convenience store in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province." According to Mr. B, a convenience store employee who reported the incident, Mr. A kicked the store door and entered with his companions. Mr. A opened the door so roughly that a paper attached to the door fell off.
Mr. A took an ice cream from the freezer and threw it onto the counter, demanding to pay by throwing bills as well. When Mr. B said, "The paper attached to the door fell because you kicked it," Mr. A threatened him, saying, "Just pay," and "Do you want to get hit? Let's fight." Eventually, Mr. A pulled down his pants and bent over, exposing his private parts, and continued with sexually harassing remarks. Despite Mr. B’s attempts to stop him, Mr. A raised one hand as if to hit him and caused a scene before leaving the convenience store.
Feeling threatened, Mr. B pressed the emergency alarm button and reported the incident to the police. A few minutes later, the police arrived, and while reviewing the CCTV footage, Mr. B wrote a statement. At that moment, Mr. A returned to the convenience store, and Mr. B informed the police, "That person is the perpetrator." Mr. A suddenly threatened Mr. B, saying, "Be careful. You’ll regret it if you say the wrong thing."
Mr. B stated, "I reported Mr. A for public obscenity and assault," adding, "After the arrest of the suspect, I have not been contacted by the police regarding the case's progress." He also expressed, "I continue to work at the convenience store, but even seeing similar customers makes me nervous and anxious, so I am receiving psychiatric treatment."
