Hyundai Motor Donates Vehicles and Car Seats to Welfare Facilities for Children with Disabilities
Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 14th that it donated vehicles and car seats to Chorokwoosan Hansarang Village, a welfare facility for children with disabilities located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. As part of the social contribution activity H Special Movement, which aims to enhance mobility rights for people with limited mobility, Hyundai delivered the Staria wheelchair lift, designed to allow wheelchair passengers to comfortably board the vehicle with simple operation. They also donated 315 Staria Kinder child car seats, made with consideration for children's safety and physical conditions. In collaboration with Poled, a car seat specialist company spun off as an in-house venture of Hyundai Motor, they additionally provided 100 newborn basket car seats and accessories such as protective mats. The vehicles and car seats delivered this time will be distributed to children’s welfare facilities in the metropolitan area.
