Daegu City announced the winners of the 29th Daegu City Landscape Awards on the 10th, which were held to create a pleasant and beautiful green city and to encourage active participation from the private sector in urban green space development.
The grand prize was awarded to "Dalseo SK VIEW Apartment Landscaping," while the excellence award went to "Seodaegu Station Centum Hwaseong Park Dream Apartment Landscaping," and the encouragement award was given to "Sosorae General Building Landscaping."
The grand prize-winning "Dalseo SK VIEW Apartment" was designed as a complex that incorporates spaces of forest and garden, making it accessible and enjoyable for all age groups.
The open space at the center of the complex was created with nine different themes, and walking paths were connected to allow for a continuous circulation throughout the area.
The Seokgasan Garden and fountains provide visual attractions, while large hackberry and pine forests offer residents places to relax.
Additionally, small spaces within the complex were utilized to create Happy Farm, Komjirak Play Garden, and Maple Healthy Garden, making the facilities accessible to a wide range of age groups and receiving positive reviews.
The excellence award-winning "Seodaegu Station Centum Hwaseong Park Dream Apartment" created a green space connecting Ihyeon Park and Pyeongo Park, designed with a European formal garden motif to produce an exotic landscape.
At the center of the complex, an ecological pond with Seokgasan and various plants was created as a single space for relaxation. Pocket gardens were established throughout the complex, and the moss garden in Sansuyu Hill was particularly well-received as a unique space.
