Dongducheon-si Jewelry Making Students Win at National Sejong Hangeul Design Contest
At the 8th National Sejong Hangul Design Contest, the work "Flower Path, Sunset, Beautiful You, Me" won the special prize.
The Lifelong Education Center of Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, recently announced on the 8th that Han Sun-mi, a student of the 'Jewelry Making Certification Course,' won the special selection award at the 8th National Sejong Hangeul Design Contest held at the Sejong the Great History and Culture Hall with her work titled "Flower Path, Sunset, Beautiful You, Me."
Awardee Han Sun-mi expressed her gratitude, saying, "This work, which expresses the beauty of flower paths, sunsets, and people through Hangeul and jewelry craft, is hoped to serve as an opportunity for all those who are tired and hurting around us to recall the beautiful things in their surroundings through the artwork."
Meanwhile, the 'Jewelry Making Certification Course' for middle-aged and older adults is an educational program where 11 students obtained Level 1 and 2 Jewelry Making Expert certificates after completing a 16-week course at Induk University and passing theoretical and practical exams, receiving great enthusiasm from the participants.
