Dobong-gu Recruiting Students for Walking Instructor Training Course...Targeting Residents Born After 1959 with Resident Registration
Walking Instructor Level 2 Certificate Issued Upon Meeting Completion Criteria
Dobong-gu (District Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will operate a walking instructor training course starting from October 17.
This course was prepared to promote walking exercise in the community through walking instructors.
The course will be held every Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM at the 7th-floor auditorium of the district health center from October 17 to November 7.
Participants who complete more than 14 hours out of the total 16 hours will be issued a Level 2 Walking Instructor certificate certified by the Korea Walking Federation.
Additionally, participants will also qualify as leaders of walking clubs operated by the district health center. They will receive a weekly payment of 20,000 KRW for their activities.
Applicants must be residents registered in Dobong-gu and born after 1959. Applications can be submitted to the Health Policy Division of the district health center by October 16.
A total of 50 people will be recruited, and registration will close on a first-come, first-served basis. The training fee is completely free.

Among them, walking is the easiest to do,” and added, “We will continue to prepare walking-related programs so that residents can practice walking exercise correctly.”
