Applicants born between January 1, 1975, and December 31, 1984, will be accepted, and 10 men and 10 women will be selected. This is the first time the temple stay opportunity has been extended to those in their 40s.
Regarding the decision to expand the age group, the Jogye Order Social Welfare Foundation explained, "There were many requests to provide participation opportunities for people in their 40s, so we prepared a special program." They added, "Considering the available space within the temple and the intentions of prospective participants, this event will be held without media access to the site."
Those wishing to participate can submit an application by filling out the Google form posted on the official website notice board of the Jogye Order Social Welfare Foundation from 10 a.m. on the 12th until 1 p.m. on the 20th.
