[Click eStock] "Seongho Electronics Expands Film Capacitor Applications Across Various Fields"
Research Alom expected on the 9th that Seongho Electronics would secure additional growth drivers and achieve a 'surprise performance.'
Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at Research Alom, explained, "In the second half of this year, we started supplying film capacitors to Hanwha Q Cells, a specialized solar panel company," adding, "Large inverters are used in solar power generators."
A solar inverter (SolarInverter) is a device that converts the DC electricity generated by solar panels into the AC electricity we use. The inverter is responsible for the conversion process and improves power conversion efficiency and stability.
Researcher Choi analyzed, "Film capacitors are used within the inverter to mitigate voltage fluctuations and filter electrical noise," adding, "They handle high-frequency signals and respond to sudden changes in current." He continued, "They are utilized in energy devices such as solar inverters," and predicted, "Currently, we supply about 200 million KRW per month in initial volumes, and sales exceeding 5 billion KRW annually are expected next year."
