Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Attends Resident Briefing on Gwangwoon University Station Area Development Project
On the 28th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, held a residents' briefing session on the Gwangwoon University Station area development project at the multipurpose room on the 3rd floor of the Wolgye 3-dong Community Center in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The session aimed to minimize the inconvenience caused to residents by the Gwangwoon University Station area development project and to gather their opinions.
During the briefing, Hyundai Development Company, the project implementer, explained the progress of the Gwangwoon University Station area development project, and additionally, the district project manager provided information on the plan for the repair and reinforcement construction of the Gwangwoon University Station footbridge, scheduled to begin in September.
Regarding resident complaints related to the Gwangwoon University Station area development project, a Q&A session was held with attendees to address residents' concerns and listen to various opinions.
In particular, measures to minimize resident inconvenience were requested from Hyundai Development Company, and the district office decided to prepare possible countermeasures at the district level.
The 'Gwangwoon University Station Area Development Residents' Briefing' is conducted in two sessions. At the first session held on the 28th, about 80 residents, including representatives of tenants and neighborhood representatives from Miryung, Miseong, Samho 3rd Complex, Samho 4th Complex, and Seogwang Apartments, as well as heads of Wolgye 3-dong professional organizations, participated.
Nowon-gu plans to strengthen communication with residents through this briefing session and enhance understanding of the development project.
