Dobong-gu Conducts Civil Defense Drill Linked to Eulji Exercise for Air Raid Preparedness
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) conducted a civil defense drill for 'air raid preparedness' linked with the Eulji Exercise across the entire Dobong-gu area at 2 p.m. on the 22nd. The drill involved the Dobong Battalion under the 56th Infantry Division, Dobong Fire Station, and Dobong Police Station.
This drill was carried out to prepare for actual emergency situations such as resident evacuation and vehicle control following the issuance of an air raid alert. For the vehicle control training, a joint military-police traffic control post was established and operated around Dobongsan Station, and an emergency vehicle movement drill was conducted over approximately 5.5 km from Dobongsan Station to Dobong Fire Station to secure military operation routes and prepare for emergencies.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, who commanded and observed the drill, stated, "Through this drill, we were able to firmly establish a cooperative system among various agencies and significantly enhance our response capabilities in real situations. The district will continue to improve emergency response abilities through regular drills and education, and based on the experience and feedback gained from the drills, we will develop a more systematic and effective civil defense system."
