The webtoon 'Dwaejiuri' by writer Kim Kan-bi is being adapted into a drama. Studio N, the production company, recently announced on the 19th that filming for the series of the same name has begun, aiming for a release next year.
'Dwaejiuri' is another hit work by Kim Kan-bi, the creator of the webtoon 'Sweet Home.' The story follows Jin-woo, who loses his memory and crash-lands on an uninhabited island, desperately searching for his lost memories to survive among a strange family.
In the drama, Jang Ki-yong plays Jin-woo, who loses his memory and sets foot on the mysterious island. Cha Seung-won portrays the pension owner who follows the voice of God, Park Hee-soon plays Bae Jeong-ho, who obsessively pursues traces of his missing son, No Jeong-eui acts as Romi, the pension owner's provocative daughter, and Kim Dae-myung takes on the role of Jin Tae-hee, the pension's suspicious worker.

Utilizing his unique background in designing posters for films such as 'Parasite,' 'The Host,' and 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance,' he plans to capture the charm of the original work.
