"Cheer for Your New Start"... Dobong-gu Supports Up to 200,000 Won for Education Fees of 19-Year-Old Youths
Up to 200,000 KRW Support for Online and Offline Lecture Fees... Applications Accepted from July 22 via Email to the Person in Charge
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will support education tuition fees up to 200,000 KRW for 19-year-old (born in 2005) youth residing in Dobong-gu. This is to encourage young people taking their first steps into society and to help with their self-development.
The support target is youth born in 2005 who reside in Dobong-gu according to the resident registration certificate as of the application date.
The application fields include online and offline lectures at academies and vocational training institutions for preparing for certification exams. Only courses taken from January 2024 onward are eligible. The support amount is up to 200,000 KRW per person.
The application period is from July 22 until the budget is exhausted. Youth wishing to apply can download the application form from the Dobong-gu website, fill it out, and submit it along with the required documents via email to the person in charge.

Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, “At 19, young people are at an important stage of establishing their identity through new responsibilities and experiences as adults. We hope this tuition support will help young people starting their careers to gain diverse experiences, develop their capabilities, and grow.”
