Korean Man 'Disappears' After Filipino Girlfriend's Pregnancy... Explains "I'm Not a Married Man with Children"
As Controversy Grows, Explanation Posted on SNS... "Not a Married Man"
Filipina Woman Dismisses as "Nonsense"
Recently, controversy arose when it was revealed that a Korean man suddenly disappeared after his Filipino girlfriend became pregnant. The man admitted to some wrongdoing but insisted, "The suspicion that I am a married man is not true."
Earlier, on the 5th, JTBC's 'Sageon Banjang' introduced the story of a 23-year-old Filipino woman, Ms. A, who is four months pregnant. She met a Korean man, Mr. B, through a dating app when she was 19 and dated him. Mr. B stayed in the Philippines for about 7 to 14 days once a year and spent time with Ms. A's family. Ms. A said that Mr. B often talked about marriage.
However, when Ms. A became pregnant in January this year, Mr. B suddenly changed his stance. At first, he suggested an abortion, then said, "I don't know what to say," and abruptly disappeared. He did not respond to messages and deleted his social media accounts. Mr. B's actions were uncovered when he approached another Filipino woman on the dating app. That woman was even a friend of Ms. A.
Later, a Korean YouTuber running the channel 'Mr. One's Philippine Life' learned of this and tracked Mr. B. As a result, it was revealed that Mr. B, who claimed to be 31 years old to Ms. A, is actually a married man in his 40s with children. When the story was reported, Mr. B emailed the 'Sageon Banjang' team on the 19th, stating that he had posted an apology on social media. Through SNS, Mr. B explained, "I did not intentionally lie about my age; I carelessly set my age to the 20s on the dating app," and added, "Ms. A never asked to see my ID."

Regarding the suspicion that he is a married man with children, he claimed, "I lost my phone without a password, and someone must have picked it up and played a prank with lies." He also emphasized that he was not the one who approached Ms. A's friend on the dating app. Concerning Ms. A's pregnancy, Mr. B said, "I will take responsibility depending on the paternity test results," and added, "Since my face is already exposed, I cannot work in Korea, so I will go to the Philippines and live diligently raising the child with her." However, Ms. A dismissed Mr. B's explanation as "nonsense." She said, "I know the truth. Mr. B has no reason to return here, and I will not let him come back. All I want is child support," showing a firm stance.
