Flitto Supplies AI Image Translation Service to K-Beauty Online Mall 'Jolse'
AI language data specialist Flitto announced on the 15th that it will provide AI-based image translation services to JOLSE, a global beauty e-commerce platform operated by Barunson.
JOLSE is a global cosmetics online shopping mall that directly connects beauty brand cosmetics with consumers, operated by the distributor Barunson. Currently, JOLSE sells about 250 products to over 180 countries. It is known as an online platform that helps domestic small and medium-sized enterprises enter the global market.
Flitto offers a service that translates product introduction images sold on JOLSE into multiple languages such as English and Vietnamese by utilizing AI translation engines and optical character recognition (OCR) technology. This service is provided through Flitto’s proprietary AI OCR translation system, which preserves the original content’s text layout, background, and color scheme while performing the translation. It has the advantage of maintaining the unique design and sentiment of the products. The translated images will be sequentially applied to JOLSE’s dedicated mobile app and website.
Flitto’s AI image translation service is expected to be useful for e-commerce companies seeking overseas expansion localization projects, as it is highly efficient in terms of time and cost without requiring separate design work.
