On the 11th, Judge Park So-jung of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 2 sentenced Hwang, who was charged with assault, assault causing injury, and property damage, to one year in prison and ordered his detention in court, citing "risk of flight."
The court stated, "The victim consistently and specifically testified about the main aspects such as the circumstances, method, and location of the assault from the investigation stage to the courtroom."
