"Thank You for Practicing Sharing" ... Shinhwa Steel Donates Rice of Love to Changwon Special City
Shinhwa Steel donated 4,300 kg of love rice to Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, on the 4th to help neighbors in need.
On May 29, Shinhwa Steel donated the rice it received instead of congratulatory flower wreaths at the completion ceremony of Shinhwa The Flex City to Changwon City. The rice will be delivered to 430 low-income households in Changwon.
CEO Jung Hyunsook said, "I believe that contributing to the local community and practicing sharing with neighbors in need is the most important thing. We will continue to support Changwon City through steady social contribution activities and strive to grow together with local residents as Shinhwa Steel."
First Deputy Mayor Jang Geumyong said, "Despite these difficult times due to the economic downturn, we are grateful for your interest in the development and welfare of the local community. The donated rice will be carefully delivered to those in need."
Meanwhile, Shinhwa The Flex City, which was completed on May 29, is a knowledge industry center being established as part of the Changwon National Industrial Complex restructuring project, a joint effort by the Ministry of Industry, Gyeongnam Province, Changwon City, and Korea Industrial Complex Corporation. The project is being led by Shinhwa Steel, a steel distribution company located in Palyong-dong, Uichang-gu, Changwon.
