GH Breaks Ground on Site Development for Hanam Gyosan Joint Housing District on the 25th
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has begun site preparation work for the Hanam Gyosan Public Housing District Section 1 on the 25th, marking the first construction among the 3rd phase new town GH-managed project areas.
With the contract for this site preparation work finalized, GH expects the development of the Hanam Gyosan new town to accelerate. GH has been carrying out the Hanam Gyosan public housing district development project since 2019.
The construction company is the Hanwha Consortium, and the construction management service is handled by the Dohwa Engineering Consortium.
GH started dismantling obstructing structures in the Hanam Gyosan district in January, and currently, the relocation rate stands at 35% (based on Section 1).
GH is also in the process of selecting a construction company for the site preparation work of the Hanam Gyosan Enterprise Relocation Complex (Sangsangok). Construction is planned to begin in the second half of the year to ensure smooth relocation of companies within the Gyosan district.
Kim Seyong, President of GH, stated, "Starting with the groundbreaking of the Hanam Gyosan public housing district, we will do our best to timely supply housing in the 3rd phase new towns."

Meanwhile, GH is actively engaged in various social contribution activities to promote coexistence with local residents and practice ESG management, including facility improvements at Anna's House, a shelter for children and youth in Hanam City, and support for water play events at Seonggwang School, a special school.
