Gwangju Shinsegae Operates Experience Zone for Global Lifestyle Brand 'Yogibo'

As retailers are creating various experiential opportunities that cannot be experienced online to attract customers, Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) is drawing attention by setting up a global lifestyle brand ‘Yogibo’ experience zone.
Gwangju Shinsegae is opening an experience zone on the first floor plaza of the main building from the 18th to the 30th under the theme “Perfect Rest, Yogibo Therapy.” Here, visitors can freely use Yogibo premium bean bags and body pillows amid aromatic scents that help with mental relaxation and energy recovery.
Yogibo products are called “magic sofas” because they provide relaxation and a sense of stability when you lean on them. Since the true value can be confirmed through direct experience, customers have been steadily visiting the Yogibo store that opened on the basement first floor of the main building at Gwangju Shinsegae last March to try out the products. Based on the high satisfaction of customers who have experienced the products in-store, Yogibo decided to open this experience zone to offer more customers the opportunity to try them.
At the Yogibo experience zone held at Gwangju Shinsegae, aroma therapy sessions are also available. Visitors can experience Yogibo products while receiving cold and hot aroma compress treatments using natural herbs.
At the Yogibo experience zone open until the 30th, visitors can try signature products such as the Yogibo Max, and product purchases can be inquired about at the Yogibo store on the basement first floor of the main building.
Kim Young-min, head of the Food and Living Team at Gwangju Shinsegae, said, “We prepared the Yogibo experience zone at Gwangju Shinsegae to be an oasis-like space for customers exhausted by the heat.” He added, “At this event, anyone can freely experience Yogibo products as well as aroma therapy, so we hope interested customers visit without hesitation.”
