View original imageHyundai Motor Company has launched the facelifted model of its flagship sedan, the Grandeur. Prices have increased by approximately 250,000 to 830,000 KRW depending on the trim. For the gasoline 3.5 model, the starting price has surpassed 40 million KRW.
Hyundai announced on the 5th that it will release the '2025 Grandeur' and begin sales.
The facelifted model comes standard with features such as ▲Lane Keeping Assist 2 ▲Steering Wheel Grip Detection System ▲Trunk Lid Illumination ▲Rear Seat Belt Illumination ▲Interior Fire Extinguisher ▲Electronic Shift Column Vibration Warning Function. A 'Black Exterior Package,' consisting of a black grille and emblem, has also been added. The scope of the wireless software update (OTA) has been expanded to include the climate control system.
Prices have increased by 250,000 KRW each for the Premium and Exclusive trims, and by 830,000 KRW for the Calligraphy trim. For the Calligraphy trim, Hyundai minimized the price increase to 830,000 KRW despite adding a head-up display option worth approximately 990,000 KRW and new Nappa leather seats.
Specifically, the gasoline 2.5 model is priced at ▲Premium 37.68 million KRW ▲Exclusive 42.58 million KRW ▲Calligraphy 47.21 million KRW. The gasoline 3.5 model’s starting price has exceeded 40 million KRW, with ▲Premium at 40.15 million KRW ▲Exclusive at 45.05 million KRW ▲Calligraphy at 49.68 million KRW.
The hybrid model prices, reflecting tax benefits, are ▲Premium 42.91 million KRW ▲Exclusive 47.81 million KRW ▲Calligraphy 52.44 million KRW. The price increase is the same as that of the internal combustion engine models.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of the facelifted model, Hyundai is offering special benefits to customers who newly contract for a Grandeur this month and take delivery by September. They will run a 'Body Care Free Enrollment Event' that guarantees repair and replacement within the coverage limits for exterior damage occurring within 1 year or 20,000 km. Based on whichever comes first between 1 year or 20,000 km, coverage includes up to 1.3 million KRW for the body, up to 800,000 KRW for the front glass, and up to 350,000 KRW for tires.
