Korean Air Ranked 2nd Best Airline of the Year by Airline Ratings
Selected as the Top Long-Haul Airline in North Asia
Korean Air has been awarded 2nd place in the Best Airline category this year by an Australian aviation and travel media outlet.
On the 31st, Korean Air announced that it received 2nd place in the Best Airline category at the '2024 Airline Excellence Awards' hosted by Australian Airline Ratings. Additionally, it was selected as the 'Best Long-Haul Airline in North Asia.'
The 'World Best Airline Awards' comprehensively evaluate over 440 airlines worldwide based on safety, service, profitability, major accidents, and passenger reviews to select outstanding airlines annually. This year, the focus was on the achievements airlines demonstrated during the post-COVID-19 normalization phase.
Korean Air explained that its strengths in safe operations, customer service, and fleet modernization were key factors. Previously, Korean Air had also received awards from Airline Ratings last year, including 'Best Cargo Airline of the Year,' 'Best Airline in North Asia,' and 4th place in the 'Top 20 Airlines of the Year.'
