[Featured Stock] LS ELECTRIC, Ultra-High Voltage Transformer Expansion... Sales Growth Expected 'Up 4%'
LS ELECTRIC's stock price is on the rise. Expectations that the expansion of ultra-high voltage transformer production capacity (CAPA) will contribute to increased sales appear to be influencing the stock price.
As of 2:29 PM on the 24th, LS ELECTRIC is trading at 222,000 KRW, up 4.47% from the previous day.
LS ELECTRIC recently announced the expansion of its ultra-high voltage transformer factory and the acquisition of a transformer company. Regarding this, Seong Jong-hwa, a researcher at Ebest Investment & Securities, explained, "The CAPA for ultra-high voltage transformers will increase 2.8 times from the existing 180 billion KRW to 500 billion KRW," adding, "This is significant in that it creates a sales increase effect by expanding CAPA in the non-core transmission sector."
