Researcher Park Sera of Shin Young Securities stated, "As the investment ratio of pension funds in listed REITs expands, pressure on REIT management companies regarding shareholder return policies is gradually increasing. On the 24th of last month, Aegis Asset Management distributed shareholder letters to 19 domestic listed REITs requesting improvements in three areas: periodic provision of real estate asset management information from the investor's perspective, active investor relations (IR) activities, and measures to prevent conflicts of interest to enhance shareholder value."

Researcher Park added, "As expertise in REIT investment increases, more attention is expected to be focused on active IR and enhancing shareholder value of listed REITs. A strategy that maximizes value through active asset development and management, moving away from passive asset management, will be required." She also noted, "Along with active REIT management plans, the continuous efforts by REITs to steadily increase dividends are improving the overall investment environment for REITs, which is positive."
