Incheon Airport "Support for Strengthening ESG Capabilities of Small and Medium Enterprises"
Selection of 30 Companies After Applications Received by the End of This Month
Incheon International Airport Corporation will support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies to create an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management ecosystem in the aviation industry.
On the 7th, Incheon Airport Corporation announced that it is recruiting participating companies for the '2024 Incheon Airport ESG Capacity Building Support Project (ESG100).' The initiative aims to alleviate the initial burden of adopting ESG management for aviation-related companies located in Incheon.
Starting this year, mid-sized companies will also be included alongside SMEs, and the number of participating companies will increase from 20 to 30. The application period is until the 31st of this month. Companies wishing to participate can apply through the Aerospace Industry-Academia Convergence Center website.
Selected companies will be announced next month, and they will receive tailored comprehensive support measures including ▲ ESG management diagnosis and consulting ▲ establishment of ESG management systems and derivation of implementation tasks ▲ customized support by ESG sector ▲ self-diagnosis services.
Additionally, various educational programs will be provided, such as ▲ education for internalizing ESG management ▲ training of in-house experts ▲ preparation of sustainable management report guidelines.
