Dongui Science University Police Security Administration Department Holds Crime Investigation Job Workshop
Co-hosted with Busan Railroad Special Judicial Police
On the 29th, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do), Department of Police, Security, and Administration, announced that it held a "Workshop on Enhancing Crime Investigation Job Performance and Integrity" on the 25th in collaboration with the Busan Regional Railroad Special Judicial Police.
The workshop, conducted as a follow-up to the industry-academia cooperation agreement signed earlier this year between the two institutions, began with a presentation on railroad crime cases by Investigator Eom Jong-gyu of the Busan Regional Railroad Special Judicial Police. This was followed by a lecture on the scope of work and investigative activities of European railroad police by Professor Ryu Kyung-won of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology’s Department of Police, Security, and Administration, and a special lecture on integrity by Kim Kyung-hwa, Director of Planning.
At the Department of Police, Security, and Administration’s simulation shooting range, shooting practice was conducted for the staff of the Busan Regional Railroad Special Judicial Police, along with visits to the Fire Safety Management and Physical Therapy practice rooms.
Woo Ji-hoon, Chief of the Busan Regional Railroad Special Judicial Police, stated, “This workshop provided a systematic understanding of the duties of European railroad police, including those in Germany, which helped improve our staff’s capabilities. It was also a great opportunity to observe the practical training equipment and educational environment at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology.”
