Machang Bridge Supports Local Talent Development Again This Year... Donates 11 Million KRW in Scholarships

Machang Bridge Co., Ltd. generously donated a total of 11 million KRW in scholarships to nearby elementary, middle, and high schools again this year.
On the 1st, Machang Bridge announced that it awarded scholarships to 50 students from Yanggok Elementary School, Yanggok Middle School, and Gapo High School in Changwon, Gyeongnam.
The scholarship recipients were selected after the respective school operation committees reviewed and deliberated on the candidates.
Machang Bridge is a sea bridge connecting Gapo-dong in Masanhappo-gu and Gwisan-dong in Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, which opened in July 2008 and is used by about 40,000 vehicles daily.
Machang Bridge Co., Ltd., which operates and manages the bridge, is a company whose major shareholder is Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund (MKIF), practicing sustainable management (ESG), and is committed to optimizing road conditions, preventing industrial accidents among workers, and contributing to community development.
Since joining the Gyeongnam region’s Sharing Excellence Companies in 2022, it has been actively engaged in various social contribution activities such as donating to the Community Chest of Korea’s Fruit of Love, supporting medical expenses for low-income families in Changwon City, and supporting social welfare facilities and cultural and artistic activities every year.
