Song Miryeong, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, reported assets totaling 2 billion KRW, including three apartments.
According to the "March 2024 Interim Asset Registration of Public Officials" published in the official gazette by the Government Ethics Committee on the 22nd, Minister Song reported assets totaling 2.059 billion KRW under her name, her spouse's, and her eldest son's.
The majority of the assets were apartments. Minister Song owns a total of three apartments in her name. She holds Daerim Apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (1.3 billion KRW, 81.84㎡), Hanshin Apartment in Jegi-dong, Dongdaemun-gu (518 million KRW, 84.76㎡), and Bitgaram Jungheung S-Class Central Phase 1 in Naju, Jeollanam-do (232 million KRW, 84.94㎡).
The Naju apartment was where she lived while working as the deputy director of the Korea Rural Economic Institute, and the Jegi-dong apartment was leased for a jeonse deposit of 400 million KRW.
