DIGIST Invites Research Vice President Kyungho Shin
DGIST (President Geonwoo Lee) announced on the 19th that it has appointed Kyungho Shin, former Director of the KIST Institute for Technology Policy, as Vice President of Research and Director of the Convergence Research Institute.
Vice President Shin graduated from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Seoul National University, earned a master's degree in Materials Engineering from KAIST, and obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is an expert with experience in both industry and research, having worked at LS Cable & System, KIST, and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. He also served as Director of the KIST Institute for Technology Policy and Acting President of the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development.
