Ministry of Employment and Labor, 1 Billion Won Annually for 5 Years
Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) has been selected for the student employment service project and will receive a budget of 5 billion KRW.
On the 28th, Dongseo University announced that it was newly selected for the student-tailored employment service project recently announced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and was reselected for the University Job Plus Center project.
With this project selection, the university will receive an annual budget of 1 billion KRW, totaling up to 5 billion KRW over five years from the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Through the re-selection of the University Job Plus Center project, career and employment services can be provided not only to enrolled students but also to local youth.
Additionally, with the new selection for the student-tailored employment service project, a career and employment database for enrolled students will be established to provide personalized employment services.
The newly selected student-tailored employment service project will operate the ‘I’M READY Plus’ step-by-step career and employment support system at Dongseo University, running a Build-Up Project focused on lower-year students and a Jump-Up Project focused on upper-year students.
In the Build-Up Project for first- and second-year students, personalized career portfolio design and close guidance on the process will be provided through major-based job/career exploration and in-depth counseling based on new and future job programs.
In the Jump-Up Project for third- and fourth-year students, individual IAPs (Individual Employment Activity Plans) will be established through employment counseling and executed to connect students to employment.
