'A Bundle Full of Items for Our Child'... Dobong-gu's 'Birth Celebration Gift' Package
Composed of baby socks, diapers, etc... Survey reflecting pregnant women and caregivers
For newborns registered in Dobong-gu after January 1, 2024
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will provide birth celebration supplies to families with newborns registered as residents of Dobong-gu starting this year.
The supplies include baby socks, diapers, waterproof pads, and wet wipes. In November last year, the district conducted a survey targeting pregnant women and caregivers to organize the gifts according to their preferences.
The most attention was given to the socks and diapers, which come into direct contact with the baby's body. The socks are premium products from a company based in Dobong-gu, and the diapers are high-quality products made domestically.
The recipients are families with newborns born on or after January 1, 2024, residing in Dobong-gu. Considering the inconvenience of carrying the package, the items will be delivered by courier to the doorstep.
To reduce the inconvenience for birth families, the application for the supplies will be replaced by the integrated birth service application submitted at the time of birth registration.
