Junggu Parents Utilize Career and Talents to Support Youth Career Exploration
Recruitment of Parents' Career Experience Group and Student Career Club Members
Jung-gu, Seoul is recruiting a ‘Parent Career Experience Support Group’ to help teenagers explore career paths.
The Career Experience Support Group, composed of parents with diverse careers and talents, will be responsible for leading various youth career programs at the Career and Job Experience Support Center located in Jung-gu Sindang Nuri Center. They hold regular monthly meetings to plan and operate activities such as youth career and job experience programs, festivals, and clubs.
The activity period is from March to December this year. A small activity fee will be provided for participation.
Any parent living in Jung-gu or whose child attends a school located in Jung-gu can apply by visiting the Jung-gu Career and Job Experience Support Center (Jung-gu Dream Toktok) blog.
The application deadline is March 8, 2024. Selection will be made through document screening and interviews.
The newly formed Parent Career Experience Support Group will start full activities after receiving basic career counseling theory and career storyteller training from March.
The youth career clubs operated by the Jung-gu Career and Job Experience Support Center and ‘Asta’ are recruiting members by March 8 and March 22, respectively.
is a maker (equipment production) club for elementary school students in grades 4 to 6. Participants can engage in various projects using advanced equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and textile printers. Activities are held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
